Harp Improvisation 1 – “Introspection” – D Geoffrey Bell – Composer of Choral and Instrumental Music

In 2004 I purchased a Yamaha S80 synthesizer for my pop, jazz, blues, electronic and soundtrack work. As I explored the different instrument sounds it could make, I began recording songs that grew out of the sounds. The harp sound was quite realistic, so as I improvised, I created “Harp Improvisation #1“. It became the bonus track on my 2005 CD, “On Being Human“.

Eventually, I transcribed the music and sent it off to harpist Danielle Kuntz. I was delighted when she decided to give the YouTube World premiere during her “Living Room Livestream, Episode 6” concert in 2022!
