“The Gathering Storm” poem was written by T. E. Bryan, then posted later on Medium.com on August 19th, 2023. It evokes powerful images of a storm brewing, building toward unleashing its full power.
As soon as I found the poem, I knew I wanted to set it to music. This version is scored for SATB chorus with piano.
Since it hasn’t had its premiere performance yet, here is a demonstration track created using the Cantai digitized chorus.
